Kirkland & Ellis announced on May 22 that it is representing Trinity Hunt Partners in the formation of Elevation Landscape Group, a commercial landscaping platform serving the Western United States. The initial investment for Elevation comes from Landscape Endeavors, Inc., which is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The announcement highlights Kirkland & Ellis’s role as legal counsel for Trinity Hunt Partners, a private equity firm focused on growth-oriented investments. The involvement of Kirkland’s team underscores the importance of experienced legal guidance in structuring new business platforms and facilitating foundational investments.

According to the press release, “Kirkland & Ellis represents Trinity Hunt Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm, on the formation of Elevation Landscape Group, a commercial landscaping platform serving the Western United States. Landscape Endeavors, Inc., based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, represents Elevation’s foundational investment.”

The Kirkland team working with Trinity Hunt includes corporate lawyers Thomas Laughlin, Brad Johnson, Kelly McConnell and Ben Samway; and tax lawyers David Wheat and Jon Nelsen. Their combined expertise covers both corporate structure and tax considerations involved in establishing new investment platforms.

Trinity Hunt’s decision to form Elevation Landscape Group with an initial focus on Western U.S. markets reflects ongoing trends toward consolidation and professionalization within commercial landscaping services. The partnership with an established company like Landscape Endeavors positions Elevation for further growth opportunities across the region.

As this transaction moves forward, observers may watch for additional acquisitions or expansions by Elevation Landscape Group as it builds its presence throughout the West.
