The Village of Lake Zurich announced on Apr. 16 that a public hearing scheduled before the Board of Trustees regarding an annexation and development request for the property at 911 North Rand Road has been cancelled until further notice.

The hearing was set to consider a petition from Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation for an annexation agreement, which would govern the annexation, zoning, and development of the property as an outpatient medical facility.

According to the announcement, a new public notice will be posted before any rescheduled public hearing on this petition. The village also said all meetings are conducted in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act.

Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend future meetings and require accommodations are encouraged to contact the Village at 847.438.5141 or TDD 847.438.2349 promptly so reasonable arrangements can be made.

The notice was dated April 15 by Annette Weldon, Deputy Village Clerk, and was faxed and posted on April 15 to the Village website.
