Manteno Public Library District cancels Shared Shelf Book Swap at Darla’s for April 27

The Manteno Public Library District announced on April 27 that the Shared Shelf Book Swap event scheduled for tonight at Darla’s in Manteno has been canceled.

The event was designed to bring together adults interested in sharing and exchanging books. Participants were encouraged to bring a book in good condition, provide a short description of their selection, and take part in an interactive book swap game. Each participant who brought a book would have received a complimentary coffee or soft drink.

The program is typically held on the last Monday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m. at Darla’s. The library encourages community members to register for future sessions when they resume.
