Mark L. Zondor, aged 71, passed away at his Charlotte, North Carolina residence on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Survived by his wife Sarah Bethke, daughter Jessica Zondor, and grandchildren Zane, Freya, and Evelyn, Mark was also remembered by his mother, four siblings, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. He spent 35 years working in banking, including with Bank of America, in various locations before settling in Charlotte. Born in Chicago, he was known for his close relationship with his twin brother, Rich. A memorial ceremony will take place on October 11 at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home in Lansing, IL, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City. In lieu of flowers, donations to Phil’s Friends in memory of Mark are appreciated.
