Matthew Gasparin was named March Colleague of the Month for Memorial Health System Resources, according to an April 14 announcement.

The recognition highlights Gasparin’s contributions to his team and the organization. The award is given to employees who demonstrate excellence in their roles and embody Memorial Health’s mission, vision, and values.

Gasparin began working at Lincoln Memorial Hospital in 2024 as a member of the Environmental Services team. In that position, he consistently showed a strong work ethic and supported those around him by offering help whenever needed—even when tasks were outside his usual responsibilities. He was known for noticing areas that could be improved and taking action to address them while maintaining a positive attitude.

Earlier this year, Gasparin transitioned to Information Services as a technology specialist in customer support. In this role, he has resolved more than 180 technical issues for colleagues, continuing his focus on providing a positive experience for both patients and staff.

“Matthew is always willing to help when we need something. He is always friendly and has a smile,” wrote his nominator.

The Colleague of the Month program recognizes individuals who set an example within Memorial Health through their dedication and service.
