Matthew R. Flores, age 42, of Illinois, passed away. He was the devoted son of Michael and Laurie Flores and loving brother of Michael Sr. and Ryan Flores. Cherished uncle of Rhiannon and Michael Jr. and dear grandson of the late Richard and late Margaret Maher, and the late Joseph Flores and Darla Salazar. He was also an adored nephew and cousin to many. Matthew’s presence was described as a light that will never dim, bringing joy, love, and laughter to all. He was known for his energy, generosity, and willingness to help others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. Visitation was held, and funeral and interment were private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association are appreciated. Memories and stories can be shared on Matthew’s Tribute Wall.
