House Minority Leader Tony McCombie announced on May 12 her next round of traveling office hours. At one of these events, Orangeville Village President Tom Scudder will join McCombie to provide a legislative update on state and local issues and answer questions from attendees.

These office hours are part of ongoing efforts by McCombie and her District Office to make state services more accessible to residents across northwest Illinois. The events are intended as opportunities for area residents to ask questions about state-related matters or receive help with navigating state agencies.

“Constituents have in person access at these events to make things easy and efficient for anyone who needs the help,” said McCombie. “I am excited to join forces with President Scudder to provide local and state updates and answer questions – it is a great addition to the office hours events this month!”

McCombie, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 89th House District, replacing previous state representative Andrew Chesney, according to Ballotpedia.

Residents with questions are encouraged to contact McCombie’s office at (815) 291-8989.
