Orland Park, IL – Mildred M. Martin (nee Balestri), 85, passed surrounded by loved ones. She was the loving mother of Debbie (the late Dr. Kelly) Ludwig, Denise (Pete) Pashos, and Michael Martin; cherished grandmother of Michael (Kacie), Delaney (Rocky), Ryan (Gianna), and Gina; dear great-grandmother of Ronin, Reece, Roxanna Marie, Brooke, Bailey, Xander, and Antonio.

Mildred was the dearest sister of Evelyn (the late Kenneth) Helmin and the late Amelia Balestri; fond aunt of Rich (Cheryl), Dan (Chris), and John Helmin. Her family extends special thanks to her neighbors Craig and Sue, and Steve and Jeanne.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday starting at 9:15 a.m., followed by prayers at 10:15 a.m. at Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St. Orland Park, IL 60462. Mass will commence at St. Michael Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. For more information, please call 708-429-3200.
