The Millikin University men’s baseball game against Elmhurst University, originally scheduled for Sunday, April 19, has been relocated due to heavy rain in Elmhurst, according to an announcement on April 18. The matchup will now take place at Lee Pfund Stadium in Carol Stream.

The change was made following significant rainfall that impacted field conditions at the original venue. The new location is Wheaton’s home field, situated at 560-70 S. Gary Ave. in Carol Stream.

Game time has also been adjusted and is set for a 3 p.m. start.

Relocating games because of weather conditions is not uncommon during the spring season, as teams work to ensure player safety and maintain schedules.

No additional information regarding ticketing or further schedule changes was provided.
