The Millikin Big Blue women’s golf team hosted the Millikin Spring Shootout in Springfield, Illinois on April 22 at The Rail.

The event featured four teams competing in a single-round tournament. Lillian Enger led the Big Blue with a score of 84, tying for seventh place. Ruby Haegen finished with an 86 to take eleventh place, while Jaryn Haarmann posted an 87 and finished twelfth.

The tournament provided local players with competitive experience and showcased the team’s performance against regional opponents.

Millikin’s women’s golf team is scheduled to return to action on Sunday, April 26. They will travel to Metamora, Illinois to face Carl Sandburg College at Metamora Fields Golf Course.

The upcoming match offers another opportunity for the team members to build on their recent results and continue their season.
