Naperville, IL – Mollie Elizabeth Wade-Lynski, affectionately known to her loved ones as “Darling,” peacefully passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 88. A cherished member of the community, Darling will be fondly remembered for her warmth, love, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Born on August 2, 1937, in Tennessee, Darling’s life was defined by her values of faith, family, and kindness. Her journey led her to Chicago, where she built a loving home with her first husband, Wayne, and their daughter Lisa. A successful businesswoman and talented hairstylist, Darling’s salon was a place of comfort and camaraderie for all who visited.

Following Wayne’s passing, Darling found love again with Robert “Bob” Lynski, and they shared many joyful years together in Orland Park. After Bob’s passing, Darling moved to Aurora, where she continued to be a beacon of love and compassion for her family.

Darling’s faith was central to her life, and her generosity and love knew no bounds. Her loving spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on generations to come.

Darling is survived by her daughter Lisa, grandsons Nick and Michael, great-granddaughters Kaitlyn and Carissa, sister Cherry, niece Brenda, and a loving extended family. Her legacy of faith, family, and kindness will be cherished and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Visitation and Funeral Service to honor Darling’s memory will be held on October 24, 2025, in Orland Park. The community joins together in mourning the loss of a remarkable individual, whose light will continue to shine through the memories and love she shared with those around her.
