The number of VA purchase loans in Illinois for 2025 was 6,630 and totaled $2.1 billion, according to figures provided by the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
By comparison, there were 6,064 VA purchase loans in Illinois for the previous year, totaling $1.8 billion.
