The Mundelein Parks Foundation announced on April 16 that it will host its Third Annual Meat Raffle Fundraiser on Sunday, April 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Crossroads Restaurant and Bar in Mundelein.

The event aims to raise money for recreation scholarships, providing support for community members seeking access to park district programs. The fundraiser is timed with the start of grilling season and is intended to offer both entertainment and an opportunity for local residents to contribute.

Attendees can expect live music by Five Rounds, a 50/50 raffle, and the chance to win four bags of premium meats raffled off every 20 minutes. Additional prizes include rounds of golf at eight local courses as well as admission passes to Barefoot Bay.

According to the announcement, the afternoon promises a lively atmosphere where guests can participate in various activities while supporting a charitable cause. The event location is Crossroads Restaurant and Bar at 1021 IL-83 in Mundelein.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward recreation scholarships managed by the Mundelein Parks Foundation. These scholarships are designed to help individuals and families participate in recreational opportunities offered through the park district.
