The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin announced on April 29 that freshman Gillian Nahum has been named the First Year Student-Athlete of the Year and earned a spot on the first team all-conference for men’s tennis.

These honors recognize Nahum’s achievements during his opening season with Millikin Big Blue. The awards highlight both his performance and contributions to his team throughout the regular season.

Nahum, who is from Cachan, France, competed primarily at No. 1 singles for Millikin Big Blue. He recorded a 4-4 record in singles play during conference matches and finished with an overall singles record of 14-7 for the 2025-26 regular season. In doubles competition, he posted a record of 12-8.

During conference play, Nahum faced six other athletes who were selected to all-conference teams and defeated Ryan LaBelle, who was named to the second team.

The recognition as both First Year Student-Athlete of the Year and first team all-conference marks a strong start to Nahum’s collegiate tennis career.
