Noah Finley, the Illinois State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), has been confirmed by the Illinois Senate to serve on the state’s Employment Security Advisory Board (ESAB). The confirmation took place during the Senate’s fall veto session.
Finley was selected by the governor to represent employers on the board. His term will last two years.
The ESAB is responsible for advising the Illinois Department of Employment Security regarding the administration of the state’s Unemployment Insurance Act. The board consists of twelve members, with four representing employers, four representing employees, and four representing the general public.
