State Representative Adam Niemerg announced on May 5 that his next Satellite Office Hours program will take place on May 19 at four locations. The events are scheduled to be held at the St. Joseph Library from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Homer Village Hall from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Fairmount Fire Department from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, and Catlin Library from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

The Satellite Office Hours program is intended to provide constituents with opportunities to meet with legislative staff and discuss concerns or issues in person. Constituents can schedule an appointment by calling the provided number or attend during the designated times without an appointment.

Niemerg said these sessions are part of his ongoing effort to make state government more accessible for residents in his district.

Niemerg, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 102nd House District, replacing previous state representative Darren Bailey, according to the Illinois General Assembly.

The upcoming office hours aim to give local residents a chance for direct communication with their representative’s staff about any legislative matters or assistance they may need.
