The graveyard is vast and populated with over 3,000 people. Most remarkably is a Revolutionary War veteran on the north side. The whole graveyard is stamped with the images of time and meaning specific to Fox Valley. The cemetery itself is located at the top of the Church Street Hill, right as you enter the town, if you are driving north from Newark, IL. It is named “Millington-Newark Cemetery”. There is a small chapel on the south side. There are also many remarkable graves.
