OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute launched a new website listing open clinical trials in late May 2026. The site, available at https://breakthrough.osfhealthcare.org/clinical-trials/, allows users to search for trials by cancer type and phase.

The website is designed to help people learn about ongoing research opportunities and provide information on which clinical trials are currently accepting new patients. As of late May, nearly 10 clinical trials are open for enrollment, with additional studies expected in the coming months.

To support its commitment to research and cancer care, OSF HealthCare appointed Jun Zhang, MD, PhD, as vice president of Oncology Research. Dr. Zhang will oversee the expansion of clinical trial offerings under the leadership of James McGee, MD, president and founding director of OSF Cancer Institute in Peoria.

The organization said that launching this resource aims to reduce anxiety and stress for individuals seeking cancer resources by offering accessible information during challenging times.

OSF HealthCare operates a network of 17 hospitals along with urgent-care locations, clinics, and outpatient facilities across Illinois and Michigan as part of its integrated nonprofit health system. It provides a range of services including emergency care, cancer treatment, heart services, neurological support, primary medicine, mental health care and digital health options through OSF OnCall; it also offers community well-being guidance through its newsroom, according to the official website.
