OSF HealthCare will serve as the presenting sponsor for Peoria City, according to an announcement made during a news conference at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center on April 28. The two-year partnership comes as Peoria City prepares for its fifth season in the nation’s premier men’s soccer pre-professional league.
As part of the agreement, the OSF HealthCare logo will be displayed across the front of Peoria City’s new uniform kits designed by Aretyn. Players unveiled these new kits during the event. Other elements of the sponsorship include increased visibility for OSF HealthCare initiatives at games, more signage at Shea Stadium throughout the season and year-round at The Yard Peoria, and branding on all summer camp t-shirts and a foam carp-shaped hat given to season-ticket holders during the home opener on May 23.
The partnership also features an Employee Appreciation Night hosted by Peoria City on June 20 when they play Sunflower State FC. Additionally, OSF HealthCare will receive game tickets that may be distributed to patient families during the season.
Peoria City players have started arriving in town ahead of their upcoming matches. The team is set to face Northwestern University’s men’s soccer team in its second CEFCU Friendlies Series event this Saturday at Shea Stadium. Fans can access tickets and memberships through PeoriaCitySoccer.com.
