Born in 1944 in Chicago to Raymond and Genevieve Stanis, Pamela’s life was marked by a passion for learning, nurturing, and culinary creativity.

After earning her BSN from Rush University and pursuing a career in nursing management at Hines V.A. Hospital, Pamela went on to earn a JD from Valparaiso University Law School in 2008. Survived by her siblings and children, Pamela’s life will be celebrated at St. John Fisher Church in Chicago on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School, a charity close to Pamela’s heart.
