Patrick Michael Power, aged 63, of Frankfort, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. Born on May 27, 1962, in Blue Island, Illinois, Pat resided in Frankfort for the last thirty years, a community he deeply valued. He embodied loyalty, dedication, service, humor, leadership, and a strong presence in every aspect of his life, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Loyalty – Pat exemplified loyalty through four decades of marriage to his beloved wife Nancy and his unwavering commitment to United Rentals throughout his professional career.

Service – Pat quietly devoted himself to charitable causes such as Habitat for Humanity, Feed My Starving Children, the Special Olympics, Big Shoulders Fund of Northwest Indiana, and his own charity, Friends of Children’s Charity.

Humor – Known for his quick wit and love for laughter, Pat’s humor and teasing nature endeared him to many, lightening the room with his presence.

Leadership – Pat displayed calm, consistent leadership at United Rentals and at home, where he managed hundreds of employees and guided his family through difficult times with a steady hand.

Presence – Small acts of love, kindness, and gestures of care defined Pat’s daily interactions, displaying his understanding of the value of the little things in life that matter most.

Survived by his wife Nancy, children Emily, Patrick, and Anna, parents Patrick and Dorothy Power, sisters Nanci, Katie, Dotti, and Diane, and nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, and the Big Shoulders Fund of Northwest Indiana in Pat’s memory are appreciated.
