Prospect School held its Fine Arts Night on May 6, inviting all Prospect families to join an evening dedicated to the arts. The event featured a school-wide art show, book fair, and special activities for attendees.
The night placed a special emphasis on literature, highlighted by the attendance of author Christina Soontornvat, who signed books for families. A musical performance at 7:15 p.m. saw the Prospect Choir and Ukulele Club bring Soontornvat’s book “Simon at the Art Museum” to life through music and song.
From 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., families explored student artwork displayed throughout the school and participated in an Art Scavenger Hunt. Organizers said these activities aimed to showcase Prospect’s focus on blending literature with visual and performing arts in students’ education.
