Pudu Robotics announced on April 18 a strategic partnership with Gom Schoonhouden B.V. to deploy the PUDU BG1, an artificial intelligence-powered cleaning robot, in Europe for the first time. The agreement was facilitated by Fulin Robot Technologie B.V., Pudu’s regional partner.

The collaboration marks a significant step toward adopting next-generation automation in Europe’s professional cleaning sector. According to Geoffrey Nouws, head of innovation at Gom, “With this deployment, we are not just introducing a new machine but a new way of working. We are constantly looking for innovations that can improve the quality and efficiency of large-scale cleaning operations. For us, this deployment is another step in the continuous improvement of our service delivery. By applying this technology, we can help our clients achieve more consistent quality and more efficient operations in large environments. Innovation only has value if it contributes to better results for our clients.”

The PUDU BG1 series features native AI architecture designed to dynamically respond to real-world environments rather than relying on pre-set routes or schedules. Its system includes real-time dirt detection and adaptive cleaning strategies while optimizing chemical use and brush pressure automatically. Felix Zhang, founder and CEO of Pudu Robotics said, “This partnership is strong validation of where the cleaning industry is heading… With the BG1 series and our AI Magic Cleaning system, we enable machines to go beyond execution toward true understanding and decision-making.”

Pudu Robotics has shipped over 120,000 robots worldwide as reported by Frost & Sullivan’s ‘Market Research on Global Commercial Service Robotics (2023),’ holding a leading market share of 23 percent globally. The company experienced revenue growth of 100 percent year-over-year in 2025; its flagship product CC1 surpassed 20,000 units delivered globally—60 percent deployed across Europe and North America.

Gom Schoonhouden B.V., one of the largest professional cleaning service providers in the Netherlands, focuses on tailored solutions across sectors such as healthcare and education while emphasizing people-centered practices and sustainable innovation.
