State Representative Martin McLaughlin announced on April 27 that the upcoming Mobile DMV Event, scheduled for May 18 at the Algonquin Township Offices, has reached capacity and is now sold out.

The announcement affects residents who were hoping to secure an appointment for DMV services at this event. Those unable to get a spot are encouraged to contact Rep. McLaughlin’s office via email at [email protected] to be added to a waiting list for any future Mobile DMV events.

Although all appointment slots for DMV services are filled, Illinois Tollway representatives will still be present on-site to assist with I-PASS services. These I-PASS services do not require an appointment, and all residents are welcome to attend for assistance in this area.

State Representative Martin McLaughlin serves the 52nd District of Illinois, which includes communities across Cook, Lake, and McHenry counties such as Algonquin, Barrington Hills, Cary, Deer Park, Fox River Grove, Grayslake, Hawthorn Woods, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Island Lake, Lake Barrington and others.

McLaughlin was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2021 representing the state’s 52nd House District after replacing previous state representative David McSweeney according to Ballotpedia.
