Illinois State Representative Adam M. Niemerg welcomed members of the Ridge Farm FFA Homefires families at the State Capitol on May 27.

Homefires is a Christian homeschool support group that serves east central Illinois and west central Indiana. The organization seeks to provide information, activities, help, and encouragement for its members. It offers monthly activities such as field trips and family events, coffee times for mothers, and teen-specific activities including some sports for middle school and high school students. The group also has its own FFA chapter.

Membership in Homefires requires annual renewal by signing a statement of faith or waivers and paying dues.

Niemerg, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 102nd House District, replacing previous state representative Darren Bailey, according to Rep. Niemerg’s office.

More information about Homefires FFA and the Homefires Homeschool Association of Illinois & Indiana is available through their respective resources.
