Representative Tom Weber announced on Apr. 28 that his staff will hold traveling office hours on Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lake Villa Library located at 140 N Munn Rd, Lindenhurst, Illinois. The event is open to all residents who wish to ask questions or seek assistance with state issues, programs, and services.
Walk-ins are encouraged for the session and no appointment is necessary. Residents with questions about the event can call 847-629-5439 for more information.
The traveling office hours aim to provide constituents direct access to Representative Weber’s staff in order to address concerns and facilitate communication regarding state government matters.
Weber was elected as a Republican member of the Illinois State House in 2019 and represents the state’s 64th House District after succeeding Barbara Wheeler, according to Ballotpedia.
Events like these offer an opportunity for community members to engage directly with their representative’s office outside of standard business settings.
