Robert W. Sadler, a retired Chicago Police Department officer and United States Marine Corps veteran, passed away at the age of 78. Survived by his wife, Linda, and children Laura Lukasik and Dustin Sadler, Sadler will be remembered by his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, with funeral services to be held the following day at 10:00 a.m. Sadler will be entombed at Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Orland Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
