Robert B. “Bob” Zwahlen, 82, passed away on World Motorcycle Day, June 21, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center. Born on November 13, 1942, in Indianapolis, IN, to Asa and Eathel Zwahlen, Bob married Judith Jordan in 1970. Bob enjoyed a fulfilling career at Kraft General Foods and later as a driver at Midwest Transit Equipment in Kankakee.

A lover of cars, motorcycles, fishing, and photography, Bob embarked on road trips to local festivals, fairs, breweries, and wineries. He was an active member of various motorcycle clubs and appreciated exploring new places. Bob treasured family time and was a devoted parishioner at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais.

Bob is survived by his wife Judith, children Robin, Ryan, Scott, Christine, brother Michael, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Linda and Barbara, a memorial visitation will be held on July 1, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home and a memorial Mass on July 2, 2025, at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Masses in memory of Bob Zwahlen.
