Sally Kutemeier, aged 73, of Kankakee, passed away on September 28, 2025, at LaBella of Clifton. Born on January 9, 1952, in Kankakee to Jack Schloendorf and Elenore Haffner, Sally was known for her love of fishing, music, and playing Yahtzee with her best friend, Punky. She was a devoted member of the Open Bible Center in Kankakee.

Sally’s greatest loves were her family, especially her daughter, Kelly, and grandsons. She found solace and joy in God and cherished her faith above all else. Sally is survived by her daughter, Kelly Kutemeier, grandsons Kyler Colbert and Kayden Kutemeier, and best friend Carol “Punky” Patton. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Cindy Schloendorf, brothers John Schloendorf and Rick Lindhorst, stepfather Gerald Mader, and niece Shelly Leone.

Cremation rites have been performed, and a private family inurnment will take place at a later date to honor Sally’s memory.
