Play in the second round of the Ohio Valley Conference men’s golf championship was stopped on April 27 because of weather conditions. Only two out of eleven schools were able to finish their second round at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Club – Ackerman Hills Course before play was suspended.

The remaining nine teams, including Eastern Illinois, had players still on the course when play was called off. Tournament officials said that these players will complete their rounds on Tuesday morning, and then the final 18 holes of championship stroke play will take place after completion of the second round. All pairings from Monday’s incomplete second round will remain unchanged for Tuesday’s final round.

Two Eastern Illinois golfers, Alex Siatos and Luke Watson, finished their rounds before play stopped. Three other team members—Jacke Roche, Ian Hollander, and Cole Jaworski—were still playing when weather interrupted competition.

The delay means a condensed schedule for athletes and organizers as they aim to complete both remaining rounds in one day. The tournament continues with hopes for improved weather conditions.
