Appointments are required for all services due to limited availability. Residents are encouraged to schedule soon by contacting Katherine Goosby at (708) 748-3731, ext. 223; confirmation is only given after a specific time slot is assigned. Required documents and service details can be reviewed on the Illinois Secretary of State’s website or requested at the Library’s Patron Services Desk.

Written or road tests will not be offered during this event. The initiative aims to make government services more accessible for residents who may have difficulty traveling to full-service facilities.

According to the official website, Village of Park Forest promotes community health and engagement through dedicated commissions and programs. The village has received recognition for its sustainability efforts in town planning and community practices as reported by its official website. Economic conditions are bolstered through collaboration and innovation in municipal service delivery according to the official website.

Village governance operates under a council-manager system with a mayor and six trustees serving as its governing body according to the official website. Leadership in sustainability is further demonstrated by supporting initiatives such as the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Climate Protection Agreement as noted on their site. Educational opportunities addressing community issues are provided through programs like the Civic Leadership Academy according to village information.

This mobile DMV event reflects ongoing efforts by village leaders to improve access for residents while aligning with broader goals around community engagement, sustainability, and responsive municipal service.
