Southern Illinois University announced on May 20 that the SIU men’s golf team will hold its annual Golf Scramble on Friday, Aug. 7 at The Links at Kokopelli in Marion.

The event aims to bring together supporters of Saluki men’s golf for a day of play and fundraising for the program. Participants can choose between two shotgun start times, either at 8 a.m. or 1:30 p.m., with lunch served at 12:30 p.m.

All entrants will receive greens fees, a cart, lunch, and an entry gift as part of their registration. Entry options are available for both individuals and groups, with fees set at $150 per person or $900 for a six-person team. Multiple sponsorship opportunities—including corporate, lunch, cart, and hole sponsorships—are being offered to provide visibility for businesses while supporting the program.

Registration is open online through SIUSalukis.com/scramble or by mail via the SIU Foundation (Attn: Justin Fetcho). Checks should be made payable to “SIU Foundation – Men’s Golf.” Proceeds from the scramble will benefit SIU men’s golf. The event is sponsored by Dalhousie and Legence Bank.
