Skadden was recognized on April 10 with two honors at the Managing IP’s 2026 America Awards, which highlighted firms and practitioners for their intellectual property achievements over the past year.
The recognition matters as it reflects Skadden’s work in trade secrets law and its involvement in a significant appellate case. These awards signal notable accomplishments within the field of intellectual property, an area that is important to many businesses and legal professionals.
According to the firm, Skadden received the U.S. Firm of the Year award for Trade Secrets. The firm was also recognized with an Impact Case of the Year award for its representation of Tower Semiconductor Ltd. before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In that case, Skadden secured a victory when the court reversed a district court’s denial of Tower Semiconductor’s anti-SLAPP motion and determined that such denials are immediately appealable under the collateral order doctrine.
The acknowledgment from Managing IP places attention on both successful litigation outcomes and excellence in practice areas like trade secrets protection.
These distinctions may influence how clients view law firms’ expertise in complex intellectual property issues going forward.
