A social media post has drawn attention for its remarks on the ongoing discussion of slavery and reparations among Black progressives. The comment was made by Jay’V (@JayVTheGreat) on the platform X.

In the post, Jay’V said, “It needs to be studied how you all refuse to move on from slavery. Damn near every race in the world was enslaved; yet Black progressives continue to rehash it every chance they get. Not because you’re truly upset by it, but because you all get thrills from constantly throwing it in people’s faces in an attempt to demonize white people and cause division. You’re not going to get any reparations from it. Your reparations are going to the illegal immigrants that are replacing you; thanks to the ‘vote blue no matter who’ party that you all constantly support,” according to Jay’V on X.

The post addresses debates about historical injustices and their place in current political conversations. It also references political affiliations and opinions regarding immigration policy.
