Southern Illinois University’s men’s basketball team announced on Apr. 23 that it has accepted an invitation to compete in the 2026 Paradise Jam tournament in the Virgin Islands as part of its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season.

The participation marks the Salukis’ second appearance at the Paradise Jam and their first under head coach Scott Nagy. The event will feature eight teams and will be held for the 27th time overall, with this being its 26th men’s tournament.

In their previous showing at the Paradise Jam in November 2021, Southern Illinois finished with one win and two losses, opening with a victory over Colorado before falling to Creighton by two points in the third-place game.
