Residents in Illinois face some of the steepest cost of attending in-state colleges and universities in the U.S., according to a Higher Education Tribune analysis of federal data.
Featured this week are President Ronald Reagan's birthday, a law approving riverboat gambling and the launch of the Boy Scouts of America.
"Professionals, not politicians, should be the fiduciaries of pension funds and other state funds,” Mary Pat Campbell, insurance industry researcher at Conning Research, told Prairie State Wire.
