Summit Hill School District 161 announced on Apr. 17 that registration is now open for its Summer Enrichment Camps, which will be held June 1-4 and June 8-11 at Summit Hill Junior High. The camps are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., with no sessions on Fridays. Registration remains open until May 4, and participants should register according to their grade level for the upcoming school year.
The camps provide students an opportunity to engage in activities during the summer months, aiming to support learning and enrichment outside of regular school days. With no waitlist available and spots filling quickly, families are encouraged to register soon at the district’s online portal.
Summit Hill School District 161 serves Will County and includes Arbury Hills Elementary School, Dr. Julian Rogus School, Frankfort Square Elementary School, Indian Trail Elementary School, Summit Hill Junior High School, and Walker Intermediate School according to the Illinois Report Card. The district enrolled 2,746 students in the 2019-2020 school year as an elementary school district serving grades pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Frankfort Square and Will County according to the Illinois Report Card.
