The Branches of North Attleboro, an assisted living and memory care community, was named among the best senior living communities in Massachusetts and the nation according to the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Senior Living ratings, as announced on April 27.

This recognition is based on survey responses from residents and their families, which highlighted high performance in safety, quality of care, leadership, staff quality, value, and overall resident experience. The Branches earned the highest possible rating for both Assisted Living and Memory Care categories.

Selected from over 800 communities statewide, The Branches distinguished itself through strong feedback from its community members. Tom Grape, founder, chairman and CEO of Benchmark Senior Living—the company that owns and operates The Branches—said: “This recognition is a testament to the trust that residents and their families place in us and the extraordinary work of our associates. At Benchmark, we are driven every day to raise the standard for what senior living can and should be – creating communities where seniors truly thrive.”

Located near I-95 close to shopping and dining options as well as minutes from Rhode Island’s border, The Branches offers services ranging from independent assisted living to memory care for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Residents have access to private apartments with chef-prepared meals served all day; supportive healthcare services; scheduled transportation; social programs; a bistro; hair salon; recreation room; library; outdoor spaces including gardens; and a secure neighborhood designed for those needing specialized memory care support.

Ben Harder, managing editor at U.S. News & World Report said: “Choosing a senior living community is a significant life decision for older adults and their families. U.S. News’ Best Senior Living ratings provide a transparent, data-driven tool to help families identify the highest-quality care available… We commend the communities that have earned this distinction.” In addition to overall honors, The Branches was also recognized specifically for management/staff excellence in assisted living caregiving as well as providing an environment that feels like home.

Benchmark Senior Living manages more than 70 communities across New England with over 7,200 associates serving residents throughout the Northeast region. In total this year it received recognition at 49 locations within its network.
