U.S. Rep Mary Miller (R-Coles County) is asking Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker why he hasn’t opened his Hyatt hotels to the homeless illegal aliens Pritzker invited to Illinois.

Miller posted the question Wednesday on X.com.

“JB Pritzker said everyone in Illinois must step up and provide free services for illegal immigrants- does this include Hyatt Hotels? Why hasn’t Hyatt opened up every hotel room in Illinois to shelter illegal immigrants at no cost to taxpayers?” Miller asked.

Hyatt Hotels was founded in 1957 by J.B. Pritzker’s father, Donald Pritzker, and his uncle Jay Pritzker.

As of September 30, 2023, Hyatt’s portfolio included more than 1,300 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 76 countries across six continents.

There are 38 Hyatt hotels in Illinois. They include the state’s largest hotel— Hyatt Regency Chicago, with 35 floors, 2,032 rooms, and 123 suites.

At four people per room and eight per suite, the Hyatt Regency Chicago could hold more than 9,000 illegal aliens.

In August 2021, Pritzker signed legislation “establishing Illinois as the most welcoming state in the nation” to illegal aliens looking come here under President Joe Biden’s new “open borders” policy,

“Throughout my governorship I’ve directed my administration to adopt policies that make Illinois a welcoming state for (illegal aliens), Pritzker said.

Mary Miller is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Illinois’ 15th district. They replaced previous U.S Congress member John Shimkus in 2021.

Mary Miller, 63, was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959. She currently lives in Oakland.
