United Township High School District 30 announced on April 27 the schedule for its spring athletics events taking place from April 27 through May 2, 2026. The district released a detailed list of competitions including tennis, baseball, softball, soccer, and track and field involving both boys’ and girls’ teams.

The announcement provides students and families with information about upcoming games and meets. These activities are an important part of student life in the district.

According to the Illinois State Board of Education, United Township High School District 30 is located in East Moline and Rock Island County. It serves grades nine through twelve and enrolled 1,705 students during the 2019-2020 school year according to the Illinois Report Card. The district covers parts of Rock Island and Henry counties as reported by the Illinois Report Card.

Demographic data show that United Township High School District 30’s student population is composed of approximately 51.3 percent White students, with Black students making up about sixteen percent, Hispanic students twenty-five point five percent, and Asian students two point nine percent according to ISBE. The district employs ninety-six teachers earning an average salary of $65,666 before pension contributions; just over half are men while forty-eight point three percent are women. There were no teachers with more than ten absences in a school year according to state data.

In terms of funding and spending, United Township High School District spent $19,622 per student in fiscal year twenty-twenty for a total expenditure exceeding thirty-three million dollars as reported by ISBE. Chronic truancy affected seventy-eight students in that same period—about four point six percent—which is below the statewide average chronic truancy rate of nine point six percent according to ISBE statistics.

The new athletic schedule reflects ongoing efforts by United Township High School District to engage its diverse student body in extracurricular activities while maintaining transparency about educational performance indicators.
