United Township High School District 30 released its announcements on April 15, covering upcoming events, student opportunities, and reminders for the school community.

The information is important for students and families as it outlines eligibility requirements for prom, yearbook sales updates, graduation details for seniors, volunteer opportunities, club meetings, and special event dates. These updates help keep the school community informed about key deadlines and activities.

Students planning to attend prom on May 9 are reminded that they must have no more than ten discipline entries in Skyward when purchasing tickets. Guest forms are available in Student Services and due by May 7. Yearbooks can still be reserved at $60 each in the General Office starting March 31 on a first-come basis. Seniors are encouraged to visit the Senior Information page for graduation details; cap and gown pickup is scheduled for April 23 from 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM in the Hall of Values.

Several events are highlighted this month. “Beetlejuice the Musical” will offer discounted tickets with a valid student ID at Adler Theatre from April 28-30. The Panther Pant community walk/run takes place on April 22. Students interested in volunteer work can sign up for Culver’s night on April 16 or assist with Unified Regionals on April 26 in Galesburg by filling out a Google Form via Google Classroom.

Additional guidance includes an invitation from Muscatine Community College for students interested in veterinary technician training on May 11. The fourth annual UTHS Career Fair is set for April 22 from eight to ten forty-five in the morning; students need teacher permission to attend.

United Township High School District 30 serves Rock Island and Henry counties according to Illinois Report Card. The district enrolled approximately one thousand seven hundred five students during the two thousand nineteen–twenty school year and serves grades nine through twelve according to Illinois Report Card. It spent $19,622 per student that year, totaling $33,454,743 according to Illinois Report Card.

Demographically, United Township High School District is fifty-one point three percent White, sixteen percent Black, twenty-five point five percent Hispanic, and two point nine percent Asian according to Illinois Report Card. There were seventy-eight chronically truant students enrolled during two thousand twenty—a rate of four point six percent—lower than the statewide average of nine point six percent according to Illinois Report Card.

The district employs ninety-six teachers earning an average salary of sixty-five thousand six hundred sixty-six dollars before pension contributions; forty-eight point three percent are women while fifty-one point seven percent are men according to Illinois Report Card. No teachers had more than ten absences during that period.
