UnityPoint Clinic announced on May 5 the opening of two new specialty surgery clinics at 2515 Grand Prairie Parkway in Waukee. The new facilities include UnityPoint Clinic Colorectal Surgery – Waukee Medical Park and UnityPoint Clinic Breast Surgery – Waukee Medical Park.

The expansion is part of UnityPoint Health’s effort to strengthen its cancer care program for Central Iowa residents. “The opening of these two clinics are part of UnityPoint Health’s focus on building a more comprehensive cancer program across our system,” said Patricia Newland, MD, President of UnityPoint Clinic. “The care teams at these two clinics will partner closely with John Stoddard Cancer Center and our oncology leaders to deliver high-quality, coordinated cancer care services. By improving access to specialty expertise and offering advanced treatments, we can help ensure patients have access to expert care close to home.”

UnityPoint Clinic Colorectal Surgery – Waukee Medical Park will provide diagnosis and treatment for disorders and diseases affecting the colon, rectum, and anus.
