Vernon Hills Days announces headliner bands for July festival

The Vernon Hills Days volunteer committee announced on Apr. 29 that Blood, Sweat & Tears and the James Barker Band will headline this summer’s Vernon Hills Days festival, which is scheduled to take place from July 16 through 19 at Century Park.

The announcement of these well-known bands is expected to draw significant attention to the annual event, which organizers describe as the biggest celebration of the summer in Vernon Hills. The festival features food, entertainment, and free concerts for attendees.

Blood, Sweat & Tears is set to perform on Friday, July 17 at 9 p.m., while the James Barker Band will take the stage on Saturday, July 18 at 9 p.m. Both performances are open to all festival-goers and are part of a lineup designed to appeal to a wide audience.
