Rainy weather in Decatur, Illinois has led to changes in the schedule for the 2026 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Baseball Tournament, according to a May 8 announcement.

The adjustments affect several games set to take place at the Workman Family Baseball Field. The matchup between Millikin University and North Park University is now scheduled for Friday night at 6:30 p.m.

Game seven of the tournament will be played on Saturday, May 9 at 11 a.m., featuring Carthage College against the loser of Friday night’s contest. The championship game is now set for Saturday at 3 p.m. If an additional game is necessary, it will be held on Sunday, May 10 at noon.

These changes aim to accommodate inclement weather while ensuring all teams have an opportunity to compete as planned. Tournament organizers said they would continue monitoring conditions and make further adjustments if needed.

The revised schedule reflects efforts by officials to prioritize player safety and maintain fairness throughout the competition.
