Western Illinois University Leathernecks football will host the annual Bruce Craddock Memorial Spring Game at Hanson Field on April 25, according to an announcement made on April 22. The event begins with the Rocks Gridiron Classic golf outing on Friday and continues Saturday morning with tailgating and a used jersey sale before the spring game kickoff at 9 a.m.
The spring game offers fans, alumni, and supporters an early look at the team’s roster for the upcoming season. It is also an opportunity for players to showcase their progress after spring practices as they prepare for competition in the fall.
Head coach Joe Davis said, “We are excited to welcome all Leatherneck alumni and supporters back to Hanson Field for what has become an incredible WIU Football tradition.”
