Western Illinois University Athletics announced on April 20 that season tickets for the 2026 Leatherneck Football campaign are now available for purchase, with early bird pricing offered through June 30.
The ticket sale marks the beginning of a new season for Western Illinois University Leathernecks Men’s Football, which will be entering its third year under Head Coach Joe Davis. The team is coming off strong momentum and features a top-20 ranked transfer class at the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level. This fall, fans will have the opportunity to attend six home games at Hanson Field in Macomb, Illinois—a first since 2019—with opponents including Northwestern College (IA), Illinois State, Morehead State, Tennessee State, UT Martin, and Gardner-Webb.
Early bird pricing is set at $60 until June 30. After that date, standard rates will apply: reserved seats for the public cost $120 and general admission is $85; faculty and staff can purchase reserved seats for $80 or general admission for $60. Tickets are being sold through WIU Athletics’ new Vivenu platform. Season ticket holders will receive renewal emails and are encouraged to create an account to manage their reservations.
In addition to regular season tickets, Rocky’s Kids Club memberships are available for $25. These memberships include free admission to all regular-season home football and basketball games as well as exclusive gear and experiences.
Western Illinois University Leathernecks Men’s Football hosts its home games in Macomb according to the official website. The team competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference according to official sources. Notable former players include Aaron Stecker who rushed for nearly 1,960 yards and scored 24 touchdowns in 1997 according to official records. The program has also achieved conference titles in seasons such as 1997 and 1998 along with playoff appearances as reported by university sources.
