William C. “Bill” Stack, a Vietnam Era Veteran of the US Air Force, passed away at the age of 78. He is survived by his son, Scott Stack, and was predeceased by his wife Cindy. Stack was known for his love of cats, passion for baseball, and dedication to his work at the Illinois Department of Transportation. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, with a Funeral Service to follow. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
