William R. Krefting, 74, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Loyola University Chicago. Survived by his children Mellisa Grivetti and William Krefting, grandchildren Luke and Katie Krefting, brother Ralph Krefting, sister Bette Davis, and extended family. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Bill, known for his love of family, watching TV, and the Boston Red Sox, will have visitation on June 17, 2025, followed by a committal service with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
