William Ruane, 88, a native of Carrareagh, Bonniconlon, Co. Mayo, Ireland, passed away. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Mary Ruane and devoted father of William, Patrick, and Daniel Ruane. William was the proud Papa of Kaitlin, Thomas, Claire, Kassandra, Declan, Ella Grace, and Grady, as well as the adored Great-Papa of John and Auden. He was the son of the late Owen and Mary Ruane and cherished brother of late Martin, John, Paddy, James, Br. Kevin, Owen, Tom, Theresa, Kathleen, and Mary. William, a proud retired plumber with Union Local #130, touched the lives of many as a loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Visitation was held on Thursday, with the funeral service taking place on Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, followed by interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Heart Association are appreciated. Memories and stories can be shared on William’s Tribute Wall to offer comfort to his family.
