Stephen Moore, former senior economic adviser to President Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign, will serve as the keynote speaker at the Downers Grove Township Republican Organization’s (DGTRO) Reagan Day Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m on Jan. 23 at Ashyana Banquets in Downers Grove.
Credited with helping draft the early versions of the president’s tax cuts and the Jobs Act, Moore is also a distinguished visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation. He can regularly been seen as an economic analyst on Fox News and is a former member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board.
The DGTRO is dedicated to furthering Republican principles and helping candidates at the local, state and federal levels, according to the group's website. They are committed to being active participants in the political process by helping with party-building and distributing information to constituents.
